There are 10 delightful, individually designed and themed bedrooms for guests to choose from.

Bee

The regal ‘Bee’ room is the 900 square foot grand master bedroom, boasting stunning double aspect views over the grounds and bundles of space. It’s a symphony of whites and golds with a resplendent super king bed. Located on the first floor, it benefits from a beautiful en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath and shower.

Dove

Located on the ground floor, this opulent bedroom in shades of rich berries and wine has an exquisite four-poster king size bed, original feature fireplace and gorgeous chest at the end of the bed. It houses a double sofa bed and has exclusive use of a bathroom a few steps away and an adjoining utility room/kitchenette.

Butterfly

This pretty and secluded bedroom in shades of light blues and greens lies on the first floor and is home to a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom. It also has a single sofa bed.

Parrot

Deliciously dark and incredibly romantic, this wonderful double with original feature door lies in the heart of the house on the first floor and comes with a large en-suite shower room.

Flamingo

This elegant bedroom with garden shades has a dreamy four-poster king size bed and a double sofa bed. Located on the first floor, it is adjacent to the main bathroom with grand stand-alone bath and immersive shower.

Swan

This darling twin bedroom situated on the first floor with glorious views over the garden is just perfect for little ones and has use of the main bathroom with grand stand-alone bath and immersive shower just a few steps away.

Peacock

With the majesty and beauty of the peacock, this bedroom has a king size bed and superb views over the grounds and the Mendip Hills. Located on the second floor, it also has an en-suite shower room.

Eagle

Nestled in its own eyrie on the second floor, this pretty bedroom with dual aspect windows, and with arguably the best view in the house, has a fabulous super king bed and single sofa bed. It has use of the second-floor bathroom next door plus it also has a Smart TV with Sky.

Owl

Located on the second floor, the Owl is a snug L-shaped double bedroom with use of a bathroom a few steps away.

Dragonfly

A cosy twin, ideally suited for the little ones is located on the second floor with use of the bathroom next door.

With over 10,000 square feet of living space, Winscombe Court has an abundance of room for large gatherings or for those moments when a little peace and quiet is required.

Purple Lounge

On the ground floor, you’ll discover the decadent purple-hued ‘Professor Plum Lounge’, a wonderful space filled with three large sofas, wing back chairs, a wood burning stove, Smart TV with Sky (including all sports channels), board games and a SONOS sound system.

Green Lounge

On the first floor, the ‘Reverend Green Lounge’ is chic in shades of teal, offering a sumptuous velvet sofa for sprawling and a Smart TV with Sky (including all sports channels). There’s also a library, board games and a small dining area in this room for those wanting to eat in peace!

Study

The indulgent world-travel-inspired ‘Study’ is ideal for those seeking solace or wanting to cosy-up in front of the fire. It’s also the room of choice for a post-dinner brandy or something milder.

Coffee Reception

Located on the ground floor is the ‘coffee reception’ area with chaise-longue overlooking the grounds and Mendip Hills, a perfect spot for quiet contemplation or for catching up with your group the morning after!

Billiards Room

The ‘Billiards Room’ on the first floor adds some competitive spice to your gathering but also includes a sleep-inducing massage chair when it’s not your turn at the table. Also in this room, you will find an eye-catching sports memorabilia collection assembled over decades – including the cap Jack Nicklaus wore in his last major, a signed ball from Ronnie O’Sullivan’s world-record fastest 147 break, a Don Bradman signed Ashes team photo dating back almost 100 years and dozens more items across sports!

As well as the outdoor dining space, there are a range of spacious options indoors and two kitchens available for guests.

Dining Room

Meals taken in the incredible main Dining Room will stay long in the memory, where you’ll find original artwork, high ceilings affording plenty of light and space and the grand antique table that’s older than the house and big enough to fit 18 (more at a squeeze) – the perfect setting for celebrations and banquets. The dining room was once a ball-room and the space and scale is befitting of the most special celebrations.

Breakfast Room

The Breakfast Room is a light and airy spot with wonderful views across the grounds and seats ten comfortably.

Main Kitchen

The immaculate main kitchen is simply a dream to cook in, whether you’re an aspiring Nigella or Nigel, or looking to hire your own private chef. At the heart of the room is the huge cream Aga (there for warmth rather than cooking) whilst the rest of the kitchen is brimful with all the appliances and equipment you’ll need to create feasts for a crowd, including a gas oven and hob, plus the all-important bean-to-cup coffee machine and a SONOS sound system to accompany you as you cook.

First Floor Kitchen

The recently renovated first floor kitchen provides additional capacity for larger groups with a separate hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. NB, there is also an additional fridge/freezer hidden away in the study.

First floor Dining

There is an additional dining area in the Reverend Green Lounge that sits 4 in the large bay-window area with cracking views over the grounds.
